Photograph taken at an altitude of Thirty four metres at 14:31pm on Friday 9th November 2018, off þorsmerkurvegur at Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall on the South Coast of Iceland part of the river Seljalandsá with it's origins underneath the glacier Eyjafjallajökull (the Volcano which erupted in 2010).
The waterfall drops two hundred feet and can be viewed, as shown here, from inside and behind with a walkway and legends of elves and treasures in Icelandic culture.

Islande - Skogafoss
La Skógafoss (Skógá étant le nom de la rivière, signifiant « forêt », et foss signifiant « la chute d'eau ») est une cascade située sur la rivière Skógá, dans le petit village de Skógar, dans le sud de l'Islande. La rivière Skógá se jette de ses falaises et tombe de 62 mètres[1] en formant une chute d'une largeur de quelque 25 mètres. La chute est l'une des plus célèbres et des plus visitées du pays.

Iceland's Best Kept Secret
Hidden just beyond the crowds at Skógafoss, Kvernufoss rewards those who wander a little further. Standing at its base, the world shrinks to just this — a thundering curtain of glacial water, ancient moss-draped walls of volcanic rock, and a sky barely visible above. No crowds. No noise but the roar of the falls. Just you and one of Iceland's most intimate waterfalls, completely alone with the earth.

Skógafoss
Skógafoss is a waterfall on the Skógá River in South Iceland, located near the village of Skógar. The waterfall is approximately 60 metres high and 25 metres wide, making it one of Iceland's largest waterfalls. According to Icelandic folklore, a chest of gold is said to have been hidden in a cave behind the waterfall by the Viking settler Þrasi Þórólfsson. A staircase beside the falls leads to an observation platform above the waterfall, where the Skógá hiking trail continues toward the Fimmvörðuháls mountain pass.
Standing in the Mist
There’s nothing quite like the raw scale of a massive waterfall to make you realize how small we really are. Stood before the iconic rush of Skógafoss as the mist caught the light perfectly, creating a vivid rainbow framing the canyon. I wanted to capture the contrast between the dark, moody terrain and that brief, vibrant pop of color.
